Personal Info
Real name: Chris
Age: 33 got 1 son 6 years old
Location: the Netherlands

Character info
Name: Gragzar
Level: 80
Class: Shaman
Specc: Main spec resto/Off spec Elemental
Professions: JC-Mining
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... cn=Gragzar (little note of attention here i pvp some on my shaman aswell for fun in 5v5 so i might be cought in pvp gear now and then i will always log out in pve resto gear ofc, but as we all know armory sometimes has a delay.)

Guild you're in now / guild you were in before (reasons you left)
Im in the phased vanquishers , more of a friends guild.Big downside for me is that it totally lacks organisation and punctuallity.I love to be with friends but i also love to play wow and see all it has to offer, and thats what im really missing here.I love to raid but im getting tired of not having a reliable core group to have a decent raiding experience in which every man comes prepared incl reading tactics and watching the vids. Before i was in an alliance guild on Scarshield Legion. They where an endgame on the edge raiding guild called Echoes of lordareon(ive been alliance for 5 years, pls dont shoot me) Then after the first wing opened in ICC10 and we cleared it all i had a break for 3 months of wow, because i couldnt find a challenge in it anymore.
I played lotro for three months and then got lured back to wow by my finnish girlfriend(we live together in holland and are getting married end this year)She played horde with her rl brother on this server, and since i never played horde before the old spark started to fire up again while looking over here shoulder.I decided to transfer and cow change my big blue guy and here i am.Now im totally addicted again:)

Why do you want to join Ubiquity ? What do you expect?
Ive heard excellent reports about youre progress and style of raiding.Saw you where even top in RS25 atm.Thats what i expect from Ubiquity.Nice friendly pple who stay serious and focused when the time has come to do so.Who can have a laugh now and then aswell. To get that horrible LK down so my girlfriend will stop laughing at me(shes a kingslayer hehe)

What do you think you can bring to us
I take my healing serious which has resulted in a great gear set in which i hold personal pride (i know it says nothing but 6075 GS).More important maybe is that im a teamplayer who is flexible, and who can take and execute a tip from a more experienced player for the benefit of all.(gemming /enchanting/rotation etc).I always come prepared, bring my own flasks and food, and i always make sure to atleast read the tactics of a boss i havent done before yet, and watch the vids a few times.I did 7 bosses on heroic succesfully in ICC10 as a healer with pugs.I know its not that much yet but i would love to see more and im eager to prove myself.

- Some info about class/spec, dps rotation, healing style
As a resto shaman im usually used as a raid healer rather then single target healer(exceptions Dreamwalker did the portals also on heroic 10 man succesfully)My rotation isnt that hard Riptide to keep my totem buff up,keep earthshield going on the person who needs it , and depending a bit on the fight mostly spamming chain heal.(except when there is to much range between players like we see in some fights)

Additional info:I would love to elaborate on any question any1 might have for me, and i would like to thank you guys in advance for youre time.Have fun and good luck.

Chris(Gragzar)

Thank you for your interest in Ubiquity.
May I ask why you gem so heavily for spellpower?

Goodmorning,

Sure you can.I gem heavily for SP to boost the healing output of my chainheal in fights where the entire raid takes massive damage.I have considered going heavier on the haste even though my casting is pretty fast alrdy , but havent come around to that yet.Note here is that im more then willing to regem or even re-enchant stuff if needed from guildperspective, especially if it proves to be an improvement hehe.

Thnx for youre reply and have a nice day

Hello Gragzar,

i have some further questions aswell.

Why have you chosen that meta gem?

Why do you use 2 12SP 15Sta purple gems if the meta required sais that you have to use 3 red gems?

Do you think the 4 piece setbonus is any good and/or why is it that you just have 2 pieces at the current state of game progression?

Do you have mana problems at the moment or what is the point in using 2 points in totemic focus instead of getting for example tidaly mastery, esp. when crit gives you a source of mana regen aswell.

Are you willing to change mining to another more benefiting profession? (If not i would like to see parses where you use that hot in a steady way)

Do you have some parses where we can see your healing breakdown?

No pve glove drops that were better than the pvp ones?

Where do you read up about the shaman class?

Thanks for the application and thanks for the answers in advance.

Greets

hehe thats a lot of questions ill try to answer them as good as i can.

I chose for this meta gem since it gives extra intellect not so much for the mana as for the extra sp it gives me aswell(when specced for this in tree)

Why do you use 2 12SP 15Sta purple gems if the meta required sais that you have to use 3 red gems? My old heart hates to see socket bonusses go to waste and the sp-spirit gem isnt really better atleast the stami gives me some minor survivability(again im willing to regem if needed np)

Do you think the 4 piece setbonus is any good and/or why is it that you just have 2 pieces at the current state of game progression?Im not to fond of the 4 set bonus on the shaman set since it only affects 1 target instead of all targets affected by the chain heal,so never really put effort in that. Also here im more then willing to get them if needed

Do you have mana problems at the moment or what is the point in using 2 points in totemic focus instead of getting for example tidaly mastery, esp. when crit gives you a source of mana regen aswell.- Damn you got me there i got no mp5 probs thanks for pointing that out for me ill change it right away.

Are you willing to change mining to another more benefiting profession? (If not i would like to see parses where you use that hot in a steady way)rather not since ill need it again in Cata to level JC,but if really needed it can be discussed

Do you have some parses where we can see your healing breakdown?Ill make some this week srry didnt know upfront that this was required else i would have prepared some.

No pve glove drops that were better than the pvp ones?unfortunately not its the 1 weak part in my gear, and im dying for a nice replace

(wipes the sweat from his face after this cerebral cortex overload)

If theres anything else let me know, and have a nice day

Either I'm going blind or I notice that you aren't using anything such as Grid or HealBot to help you heal in raids, from that screenshot it looks like you click, drag and drop the groups from the social raid tab.

However, if I am wrong in saying this I highly apologise. I was just curious how you find healing without such an addon, especially when it comes down to Dispelling targets, from what I am aware the way you are doing it, it has very limited functions.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

so far i never really needed it,takes the sport a bit out of it in my opinion, never fail on dispelling to be honest.Have used decursive in the past and i got my macros for emergencies insta crit chain, interrupts on focus target and purge on targets target(used to be very nice in toc on the demonboss) .I find myself getting along well with these means. On the other side im alway open to improvement, so if this is a hard demand for you guys ill get it ofc.I manage to soloheal 5v5 on 1800+ easy with this interface aswell.

Thnx for the reply and have a nice day

The only problem I see with the blizzard raid frames (besides the tiny healthframe) is that you can't track buffs and debuffs at the same time. I wouldn't know how to track riptide hot/earth shield/shieldwall... etc with it.
But if it works for you, it works.

Anyway, we decided to give you a trial spot. Whisper any officer for invite.
